As for my car being in the show. no way. this car show is only for the most rare of rare cars that date back to the late 1800s. some of the cars that where at the show sold for as much a 5 million.

Most people on it say to ditch the stage 2 and go with stock pcm.
I havent sold the stage 2 yet but i have someone that is going to buy it fro mme should i not sell it and just load the 93 oct and go with it like that then.

Is 93 octane a big deal in america?? The lowest octane fuel i can buy is 95 octane and highest is 99...... Does dsp do a 99 octane tune?
Whats the standard octane in america??
And i pay £1.11 for 1 litre of fuel so thats $1.7 ish so I pay $7.74 a gallon......
(i havnt got a SRT-4 so im not really that arsed lol just want to kno!)

Dude, so I went back up to MI for labor day and the weather blew so much...ugh. You need to move down here to TX man.

Yes the weather was bad. I went up north and it was even colder up there. I have some family down in Taxes that I visit, but I normally do that during the winter so it’s not all that worm.ZeroChad wrote:Dude, so I went back up to MI for labor day and the weather blew so much...ugh. btsc: Can't wait to see what you dyno. What's your setup consist of now?
Your 95 octane is about 91 over here, and your 98 is about 93 or 94 octane. Most pumps on the East Coast of the US are 87, 89, 93 (measured in RON+MON/2, comes close to the AKI measurement). Some Sunoco stations sell 94, and even a few more sell 100 octane unleaded, but it costs more. I can buy 112 octane low-lead race gas, but I can't pump it into the car. E85 fuel is rated around 100-105 octane, and is available randomly across the US. In California, most high test pumps only offer 91, but that's for their stupid communist style emissions regulations they have. I think right now for regular (87) I'm paying $2.49 a gallon.
Sorry to off-topic it again.
The reason the older 5.7 motors only made 220 hp was because of low compression motors, and lowered timing for emissions reasons. Mainly they were designed for trucks, and passenger cars to last a long time, not make the most HP. LT1 motors from the early 90's made about 300HP, LS1 motors made about 340HP.Kezzo123 wrote:HAHAHAHAHA 87!!!! 91 BEST?!!!!
sorry i find that really funny always wondered how 5.7 chevys have only 220hp stock!!!
Sorry ive thread pinched..... YOUR CARS AWESOME BTW!
