do these look good?

Got a question on outside appearance modifications. Questions about body kits, exterior lighting, just anything thats a visual mod on the "exterior" of the car. Ask those questions here.

I was thinking the same thing...but also I think I will pay the $20 more to have a reputable shop cover the warranty if anything goes wrong with them. Rather than fighting someone on ebay. There has been moisture issues with them and I would for some reason be one of the lucky one to have the issue sometime or another. Just my thoughts.

Modern would be much easier to deal with than a seller on Ebay in the case of something going wrong.

Go modern

Post by Dimas » Tue Jan 15, 2008 2:41 pm

I have the modern ones atm the moment and they are nice on problem was the actual lil support hole or w/e its called to fit into the metal bracket didn't I had to shaven it down by burning it with a knife. Plus since the gasket around the new headlights take their time to mold to the car i just reuse the ones off my old headlights other than that it was sweet. O and dont' wire the halo to ur corner lights like they say to from the batt. you get a brighter looking. here some pics.

Me being dumb with photoshop its my new facebook pic lol

Image

Just halo rings (angeleyes)

Image

Fog and headlights grounded with the batt.

Image

Made switches to turn on the angel for and head seperately. The actual headlamp and turning signal and fog lamp come from OEM switch on the steering wheel.

Image

this is what I was talking about the metal bracket. the new ones didn't fit through that hole.

Image

OEM headlight with the lil support thing that fits into the metal bracket.

Image

Modern headlight with the lil support thing that is thicker than OEM that doens't fit into support metal brakcet.

Image

Here I am place both support things from the both OEM and Modern to show the difference. Modern is the bigger one on the left.

Image

And here's the modern one shaved down some to fit the stupid lil metal support bracket on the car.

Image

Very please with the results if you have anymore ?s I'd be glad to answer I also have to give credit to my friends lil bro for the wiring and switches. It's good stuff.
Heh.
