I just picked up the power trunk latch assembly to replace my non-powered one, at first it looked pretty straight forward but now I have a couple questions on the wiring:
From the release selenoid:
-Green/Blk
-Black
I am assuming the black is just a body ground, and the Green/black should be hooked up to 12v via push-button switch, is this correct?
There is also a Tan/Blk wire that plugs into a prong near the latch itself, according to the FSM that could be a trigger for a trunk light, but what exactly would be needed to make this work?
Not attached to the latch assembly, but in the same wire loom there is a connector with Purple/Blk and Black wires, anyone know what this is?
Thanks,
Justin

A Emergency pull cord
B Tan/Blk wire- what is this?
C White/tan and black wires- High mount stop light
D Purple/yellow and black wires in a connector- what is this?
E Green/blk and black wires from solenoid- Green is just 12v through a switch to pop the latch, right?
F Ground strap- attached by latch bolt
