Dome Light Help.
Awhile ago I installed an led in my dome light, but i was wondering if there was anyway I could have it so the car would read that there is acually a light installed and the fuse message wouldn't flash across my gauges. I've checked all the fuses (in car and under hood), and the led lights up, but only when i click it on on the control stalk, not when doors are opened or the car is unlocked. It is hard wired directly to the wires, it is a tube style led with the contacts built in on both ends, I have the wires soldered to the contacts on each end. Any help and/or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

You may need a resistor. I don't know what size though.
In case you didn't know, the reason you are getting the error is because LED's draw very little power. So the car things the light is out.
