How to adjust cam gear at dyno?

This is the place to ask questions about your engine components like cams, valves, pistons… just anything that is generally "engine" specific. This also includes questions about exhaust systems such as exhaust manifolds, piping size, mufflers, ect...

With the upper torque strut in the way, PS hoses and AC hoses, how in the hell did you go about tuning the cam. Did you take the top strut off and put it back on everytime?

Yes.

The outer timing belt cover has to have a hole in it that allows access to the gear. And then you just have to take the top torque strut off each time. The hoses you can take the rubber isolator/holder loose and move them if necessary.

So just put those MM bolts in finger tight to make it quick, eh? Seems like a pain anyways.
