Hello everyone !!

I am a long time 1st gen Neon owner. Some of you have probably seen my posts over on 'The.Org' (Neons.Org).
I am not really a stranger to 2nd gen Neons, my brother *used* to have a 2001 ES model with MTX.


Well, I finally "updated" yesterday, getting a 2000 Plymouth LX with MTX yesterday afternoon. :D

It needs struts and some other (minor) stuff. Otherwise I am really happy with my 'new' ride.

The car is (mostly) stock, but not for much longer.
My first mod is going to be, replacing the LOUSY stock shifter. :x
I will be upgrading to a Maddog, and replace the bushings while I am at it , since they are SHOT and it feels like rowing a boat. :lol:

A couple of pics taken by my brother, are below.
I'll try to get better pics taken, after a car wash and the snow melts.
Right now, it is TOO FREAKING COLD to take many pictures, let alone wash a car. :lol:

Glad to be here !! Looks like I am going to be a regular on this site.

Welcome fellow forty's something member! Yep those bushings were one of the first mods I made. The cable ends at the trani were just big eyelets - no stock bushing removal needed!

THANK you everyone, for the replies.

I forgot to mention .... this car was owned by a couple of brothers who both worked in parts stores (one at NAPA, the other at Carquest).
So, it's got a couple of mods on it already. (CAI and dual outlet muffler)

Two less things that I got to mess with. :D

-2000 Ply.LX w/MTX = Maddog STS; CAI; 2.5 exh.; 60mm T/B
-2001 ATX w/Syked PCM + Magnum header
-2001 ACR w/SRT T/B bored out to 55mm
