DODGE NEON SRT 4 Boomba Short Throw Shifter

check out LFS racing-- just wondering what this shifter is all about. Its for a SRT but i know that the 2 shifters are compadable. But more or less just wondering on the quality aspect. I have a B&M sts now but i was looking at the hurst because im not to happy with the b&m, then this one came up.. just a question.?

I think you should look up the Maddog, MoPure or Mopar.

To me those 3 are way better than the Boomba, Hurst, and B&M.

I currently have the Maddog 80% and I love it, before that I had the Mopar unit and I've also loved the feel of the MoPure on my friends car.

EDIT: and yes the SRT-4 Shifters work on the Regular Neon.. The Knob and boot on the other hand from your regular neon normally do not work on the SRT-4 shifters.

How would one get ahold of a maddog shifter and what are the prices?

Also, a friend of mine from work has an '05 SRT-4 and already has the MOPAR STS. Does this alleviate the wearing of the shift forks that I have heard of?

I'd have to agree with MoxHair, out of all the STS designs, the Maddog, Mopar and Mopure are about the best. Maddog however is the only one with a rod brake addon.
