Request: R/T stock springs VS SRT4 springs
Request: R/T stock springs VS SRT4 springs
Im tired of sitting on the ground in my 04 R/T. Debating on stock springs or SRT4 springs. Anybody have before and after pics?
sorry no pics, but definitely recommended
Sorry I don't have any pics before and after, but I swapped the SRT springs onto my bro's 01 R/T, and I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking for a mild drop with stock ride quality.
The SRT springs are supposed to be anywhere between 1/2" - 1" shorter depending on who you ask. SRT springs on stock struts probably brought the rear end down close to the 1" estimate, the front not so much so probably more like 1/2 or less lower than stock.
But the car still rides nice, got the rear end down some, and only cost $40.
I might be able to get some after pics in a couple days if nobody else has any.

I did 1gn RT in front and srt4 in rear, here is mine:

there ya go. I like that look because the front is low, and the booty sits a bit higher giving it that old school muscle car look. but it is not so high that it looks goofy (IMO) nor is it so low that the ride is unbearable.
here is a good shot from before, with 1gn RT Springs... which I actually love the way it looks, but since I drive about 400+ miles a week, I needed a softer ride and to be able to get over bumps and curbs while delivering.

And here it is completely stock except for tinted windows. Which I still think looks sexy as hell, but 4x4 for the loss.
