Possible Dyno Day D.C. Md, NoVa
Possible Dyno Day D.C. Md, NoVa
Well, I've done quite a bit of stuff to my car since my baseline dyno, and i'm curious as to what i'm putting out and what my curves look like before i start upping the boost a bit, so i'm going to the dyno. I've got a friend that's done a bit of work to his car recently, and he's interested in going too. I havn't gotten in contact with the shop i go to yet, but i'm hoping if i can get a large enough group of people to book the whole day, they'll give a discount.
I'm looking to do this on Feb 2 (yeah, i know, short notice), which is the saturday after my next payday lol, but that is subject to change depending on how many people are interested, my buddies schedule, and what the shops schedule looks like.
The shop i use, Springfield Motorsports, is a Mustang performance shop, but they'll dyno anything (they dyno'd a pedal-powered bicycle for one of the employees lol). The cost for a baseline is $100 for 3 pulls with a wideband, and that's the best price i've found in my local area. if you have a tuning device like a dtec or safc, and want to make adjustments in between pulls, i'm sure they won't care. when i did my baseline, they gave about 15-20 minutes between pulls.
i'm hoping if we can get 5 or 6 people that they will give a bit of a discount if i can schedule early enough that they don't have any appointments for that day.
let me know who's interested (preferably in this thread, my inbox is pretty full).

What's the name of the shop? ISP means nothing to me.
Also, can he handle a rwd automatic? I'll throw my bone stock '90 camaro on there just to get a third car, if I can get someone to drive it up there LOL.
How long in advance would he need on a date?
wideband yes, ISP stands for Infinite speed and performance, and yes they have a dyno thats made for all wheel drive cars and rear wheels.
and as far as advance notice i would like to give em atleast two weeks even tho he said for me he can do it when eva.

I think if I can paint a roof and hood I can handle wheels. though you wont be driving for a day. and it needs to be a warmer day to do it cause ima be outside and cold isnt good... obviously.Wenuden wrote:I already offered to do that... Remember? I'll quit smoking for 2 weeks... LOL.
Seriously, tho, if krack and Wesley are down, I'll cover yours if you paint my spare rims (and they look good).
