It can be done with a relay, Summit racing sells a kit IIRC. The thing is, do you want all four filaments powered when the high beams are on or just when you are "flashing the brights"? Either way you just have to tap the proper wire to power the relay.

Probably shouldn't listen to anything your penis says, that guy's a dick.

True... fogot about that. I wish the MFS was like my Cherokee - pull back for flashing, all the way forward for steady high beams, and the middle for low beams. It just seems like the lever takes way too much travel to switch back and forth. I'll just install some shifter bushings.-Devil- wrote:i just hold my switch up .. but not till it clicks .. and all 4 are on ...

Why would you want both on at the same time? Thats a lot of light, heat, and possible trouble from the local authorities if your caught...well here in Denver at least.

If you only pull back just enough to get the high beams to light, but not for the switch to click in, then all 4 fifments will be illuminated, but like you said you have to physically hold it in place. = suck.gilly02le wrote:Don't You have to pull the stick towards yourself to get your highbeam's to engage? with mine i have to put the highbeam's on, and pull the stick again to get low and high on at once, it will not stay this way tho, have to drive holding it, which is no good
It depends on where you drive. On a rainy wet road in the boonies where there are no edge lines the more light the better, especially in Deer Season. I agree tho it may not be the best thing for bulb life with both filiments blazing inside that little bulb for an extended time. Good auxillary lighting is prolly the better bet. At least in the long run.60trim wrote:Why would you want both on at the same time? definitely be better of with a good set of headlight and foglight bulbs, if you have foggers that is. its really too bad they don't make fog lights that have adjusters built into them, so you can aim them differently for different types of roads, much like the BUX neons have for thier headlights. Those lucky bastards!

Your low beams work normal, but them you flick or click on your high beams you low beams NEVER go off.
