TIRE RACK SHOULD HAVE A GLOSSARY OR SOME SORT OF A GUIDE THAT WILL TELL YOU WHAT THEY MEAN. AT LEAST I THOUGHT THEY DID.

Hard to beat the 'Rack's pricing, even with shipping.

Definitely good prices there. I put a set of Continental 215/60R16's on my mother's Stratus not too long ago. Set of 4 tires including shipping was $240. (much better than her crap-ass Goodyears that were on it).

There's alot of detail when it comes to suspension and tires.....
If your car came from the factory with "H" rated tires, anything less than that will screw with the handling of the vehicle and the top speed the vehicle can obtain since the tires can't handle the "H" rated speed.
Now "Z" rated tires on a car that origionally had "H" rated tires will slightly improve the overall handling....
Ever wonder why the neon is speed limited? because thats the maximum safe speed the tires can handle. The SRT's came with a higher speed rated tire and thats why there speed limiter's are higher.

A Z rated tire is good to 150mph+, which is much more than your neon will likely ever see. The speed rating has nothing to do with how the tire affects handling, it simply shows how fast the tire can go without falling apart. Generally, a higher rated tire is a better tire, because the tire is designed to hold together better. At speed, tires are the victim of incredible force and inertia, which causes the tread and sidewalls to stretch and spread. Lower rated tires cannot handle larger amounts of these stresses, due to lower quality and/or less developed materials and design.
