we should have a shoutbox. Just for the authenticated users to use. guests shouldnt be able to see / use it . Just members. So we can have little general chats without starting a thread

Why not create a chat forum?
this way we don't have to wait for replies from other members. If we decided to make a forum thats one thing, but just to shoot the s#it we could use a live chat...only one generic live chat. Im not saying create multiple chats based on topic, but just a standard general chat...

Yeah! If used Chat rooms can be an amazing thing! My old club TENNEON used to have a very effective one we ran, and it was SO much fun! Also allowed us to really get to know one another better. So.... KUDOS to you guys if you can get that one figured out!

They have a shoutbox on the Index page at the bottom....all up and running.....
