Brake light + cluster F*ck up

Ok. so I got on the throttle abit hard again today. and ever since I got the thing repaired the brake light comes on during hard acceleration. ok. I figure I'm either low on fluid or need a brake change. no biggie, right? Wrong. I think my cluster is FUBAR not only did the light come on but the cluster went wacky. my fuel droped to nothing. the temp went all the way up and the spedo and tach went nuts for abour 2 seconds then everything returned to normal but the fuel gauge which slowly rose from E to just under 1/2 a tank where it was supposed to be. what's going on?

What was repaired on the car? I'd check the brakes by popping the hood and checking fluid first, if that is low then I'd be concerned, if not check wiring.

If THAT is all that was repaired, I would start looking for broken grounding straps or leads !!!
