why not used on modded cars???????
Seems to me that a modded car would actually like these better, and be able to take advantage of the so called gains of it. If you are adding more air the engine control unit wants to add more fuel, which is why a lot of higher (not highly) modded cars see a dip in gas milage. I would assume that the bigger, better spark would take advantage of this added fuel and air. I know my sark plugs "go out" or need to be changed more often since adding all these mods to it. I don't know, I was justing wanting to know why you made that very "vauge" comment.

The idea works, guys, it's just a matter of whether they effectively apply it. How many snake-oil salesmen have SAE articles to back them up? Though honestly I'd trust the directhits more, more flexibility and room for expansion, like combining it with iridiums.

ok so this company has a local branch that has been offering free plugs for testing and dyno time. so far on the srt they advance timing about 4-6* depending on boost levels, for a stock srt this is ok, but for any big turbo or high boost stock turbo car this is a really bad idea. thats where the "not for use in modified cars" comes in, any vehicle where a timing advance will be dangerous they are not recommended.
