I was just thinking that there are alot of 1st 2nd and 3rd gen and srt-4 neons running around the Richmond chesterfield area and i was just wondering if any of you guys would like to start a neon club or just figure out a place to meet and talk neon so to speak

3rd Gen? What the Hell is a 3rd Gen Neon?

95-99 = 1st Gen
00-05 = 2nd Gen

07-Now = Dodge Caliber

that's still considered 2nd Gen same frame just different body

Some folks coined that "3rd gen" to help eliminate confusion with the bumpers and lamps being different from '00-'02. More popular with the body kit set

Well, to be a real Chrysler geek, the Neon did exist in Mexico in '06 as a P2 body.

WRONG

There is NO 3rd Gen Neon. Period. End of Story

the 03-05s were a Model Refresh. Different Bumpers do not equal a new generation. Similar to the Changes in the 97-99 Mitsubishi Eclipse compared to the 95-96 Model years.
