need some help
Alrighty, i recently had to replace my crankshaft and a few other bottom end parts for my 01 r/t. check this out, thursday, i am checking out my car taking my rpms up to 5k in 3rd, and about the same in fourth, in fifth gear was also around 5k rpm, when the tranny just pops out of gear, into neutral, scared the living hell out of me, i slow down, put it in third, car's fine. the next day, i buy a game, get home and the car turns off in the driveway, and i couldn't start it since then. I look at the outside of my tranny, and i looked like little droplets of tranny fluid. the spark plug wires on cylinder 2 and 4 have oil on them. please tell me this will be a problem i can fix myself. any elightenment? need help asap.

I did get it done by a shop. I honestly just want a dodge dealership to fix it now. It seems like nobody knows how to fix an r/t around where I live, that owns a mechanic shop that is. i just want to get the tools and do it myself now, little fed up with the bs.Wenuden wrote:I hope you had this done at a shop, sounds like they fucked something up during reassembly. Time to get some warranty work done.

I'd make the shop pay for you to take is elsewhere (dealer) and have it done correctly. Assuming it was their mistake and you could prove it. Pay a dealer to diagnose the car, and if they say it was related to the shops work on the bottom end, take it from there.

UPDATE: Un-freakin believable, the car starts, i drive it, seems like nothing's wrong with it. wtf
