if it fits a mazda will it fit a neon?

craigslist local here kid has a set of borbet type b 15" rims with tires for sale cheap, said he had them on a mazda, and they would fit a mustang.. tires are 235/55/15 which im not sure will fit according to the tire size calculator comparing to my 215/40/17..

so i might have to replace the tires, but he's not sure of the 5x100 bolt pattern, and its an hour so drive from me..

edit: every search i came up with says 108 or 114 for mazda and mustangs.... f*&k..

235/55R15 !?

what tires? because i couldn't find a company that made that size

oh.. and basic mathhhh skills

the 215-40-17 has a 23.8" diameter

and the 235/55R15 has a 25.34" diameter which wont fit sxt struts anyways.

not to mention the bolt design doesn't work, and the offset is probably 25-30 and the neon is a 35-40 for confort

Those won't work but, various rims off of some german cars will.

yeah i already knew the diamter was gonna be too big from the miata tire size calc, was hoping the rims would at least fit, so i could replace tires, but all searches and info point to a diff bolt pattern, so..im SOL
