1st gen shifter into a 2nd gen?

I have a Maddog STS from my 1st gen and I was wondering if it will bolt into the 2nd gens? I tried to search but no avail.

I don't believe it will work. As far as I know, the only thing you can swap is Booger Bushings (if you have them).

Unfortunately it won't. The cradles are different from 1st gen and 2nd gen.

What model of 1st gen STS do you have? Maybe you can trade it in...?
