So I came across this and am wondering if it's worth looking into. I've heard

good, bad and mediocre

things on the grounding kits. Some say they help, some say they really don't do much and yet others have said they didn't notice anything... Does anyone have a set like this installed, and if so was it worth it?

I noticed a huge difference in my cars performance after I re-did the grounds. But that's because I had a bad factory ground to begin with. So it was more of getting lost performance back than gaining anything.
Either way go to the Flea market and buy 4ag wire for like $1.25 a foot opposed to that stuff

I would say it is a good finishing touch to a highly tuned engine, but probably almost useless on a mild or stock one. If you have a modified ignition system or even a high power stereo system this might have some effect, but simply cleaning up the factory grounds is more than enough for a mildly tuned street car.

That's why I'm looking into this. I THINK I have a loose ground somewhere; the gauge cluster "resets" itself every once in a while and the lights dim @ idle (could be the UDP). I figure it wouldn't HURT.

Honestly for the $10 bucks I spent it really didn't hurt. It looks a lot nicer and despite being perfectly adequate from what I hear, why NOT upgrade the grounds?
My headlights dimmed a little less I think when I rolled up the windows.
My deck would reset itself and sometimes i'd loose power and my alarm wouldn't work.
Like I said, for the $10 bucks just do it. I did as much as I could electrical wise to prepare my car for the UDP

Duly noted, it says it comes w/ instructions so.... It might be a "Daisy Chain" set up? (granted, I've NO idea what that means

)

Well, the motor's FAR from stock so getting a better grounding system
will be a plus

... A Crane or megasquirt is in the plans for the (near) future so that will also help... ok, I'll get a set then

.
Thanks
