Newb - SRT-4 Wheels on 01 ACR

Post by 2001 ACR » Wed Feb 13, 2008 4:42 pm

I found a set of SRT-4 wheels for only $215. If I get 205/40/17's or 205/45/17's will I be fine? What about 215/40/17's?

My 01 ACR is currently bone stock.

I heard people raise the problem of my "spring perch" being to low. Would the tires sizes I mentioned avoid this problem?

Also, I want to get some Eibach lowering springs (1.5 in) someday, will this cause problems for 17 in SRT-4 wheels?

I'm sorry to bring up an old topic, I'm just having a hard time understanding all of the ins and outs of this stuff.

i have the lowering springs too np...idk what my offset is tho, thats the only thing that you would have to worry about.
but with 45 series your speedo will be off so 40 is the way to go :)
