You get what you pay for.

Those do not look like they will hold up well under stress. JMHO.

I'm using Vibrant. They aren't the best, but they aren't bad either.

Just don't get the SRT-4 bar like I did unless you have a SRT-4 hood, or cut off the hood pad tabs.

Thank you David :D And yes, very big difference. I installed the front and rears before I did the coil-overs, and the difference was astounding! The rear was much more flickable, and the front did not have as much vagueness :D

They stiffen up the car pretty good. When i get into my driveway (which is a PITA) the car teaters on two wheels cause the body won't flex

I'd recommend the P-Werks bars...

Combo, however... looks to be cheaper right now to purchase individually.

Yeah, the 3rd is nice in the rear. However, my personal opinion is that the 3rd point in the front is pretty much useless since the cowl is so thin. Still a nice bar though since it's one piece.

The eBay bars are just okay... the brackets tend to bend but the bars hold up well. Problem however is it's almost impossible to pre-load the front bar properly with the adjustable ends, the rear however shouldn't be a problem. Not to mention there is an extra bolt point where the bar bolts to the brackets so thats an area that isn't going to be as rigid as a solid bar.

No one mentioned Hudson_Neons bars. Maybe shoot him a PM asking about them. The pricing will be a little different since you are out of the country.

any one have any fitment problem with the vibrant front strut bar modern sells. I have an 05 and mine did not fit everything aligned right except my car has this piece that is somekind of support bracket thing welded to two of the three bolts you place the bracket on. One bolt that piece is in the way so i can get it to fit. anyone have this problem with theres.

Danteneon, What do you mean about cutting the hood pad tabs to make the SRT bar fit?

I like the look of the DC bar, but stopped in my tracks after someone brought the hood damage issue came up. If I could make it fit, well. . . I'm all about making things fit.

Since the DC/Mopar front bar is designed to fit with an SRT hood. On the underside of the SRT hood there is a channel where the bar fits so it has clearance not to hit the hood. On the regular Neon hood there is no channel for the bar to fit into when the hood is closed so the bar rubs on the underbracing of the hood. To fix this you need to cut out some of the bracing so the bar clears properly without rubbing.

Actually, it isn't the hood, but the two metal tabs the hold the hood pad to the hood near the cowl. The hood itself clears fine.

Here are some pics for what I'm talking about...

Damage points

It sits a bit higher than a non SRT-4 bar, but doesn't hit the hood
Image

Worst comes to worse, they make the DC bar for non-SRT-4 Neons. You could just get that, and no problems :)

Part # for the MP/DC non SRT-4 bar P5153306...MSRP $159.00

Thanks Dante, I'd never seen the DC in a non-SRT. I like the sweet grey finish I saw on the DC, but mopar silver is fine too if it fits correct. You truly are a Helpful Counterguy!

Part # P4510876 is SRT # from turboneonstore.
Rear one is same-same with SRT, right?
