All back together.......

Post by lambostealth » Thu Feb 21, 2008 1:50 am

After 6 months of seeing her sit in my garage, she's finally back together.........my stock bumpers are up in my attic, they will go on sometime this year when I FINALLY figure out what I want the car to look like in it's sleeper/clean stage.

Honestly I just can't figure out what hood I want, I want one that will help cool the turbo/motor, but I will not put on the SRT hood, and don't really wanna run my current one with stock bumpers........I'll figure it out eventually.

Couple of pics after a long day of polishing......

Car looks amazing. AMAZINGLY clean and polished to perfection. The only thing that kills it imo is the wheels. Get some solid 5 spoke black ones or something. THEN it will be perfect.

Actually, just got rid of some badass 19X8.5" wheels I was going to use with the widebody, but I'm no longer going to show the car anymore, so I decided ride comfort and lightweight was the way to go.

Sure thing Rob, let me know when you wanna shoot down here and we can get some pics!

Not a fan of shiney tires, but after these pics I put on some Chemical Guys VRT, makes them look brand new.

Both cars are nasty..Neon needs more meat on those tires to fill the gap IMO, but still sick as hell....

If I were you, I would go with the TruFiber Extreme OEM hood:

Haha, yeah thanks dood, I totally will never give up my Kaminari hood, even after I no longer use it, it will hang on my garage wall!

But, that hood is cool, I just don't want anything that resembles a stock SRT hood, too played out.

There's really not much else you can get besides the ugly "invader" hood or whatever it's called from VIS. Pretty much all the aftermarket hoods are either something really ugly, or a modified SRT look. There is one other one I saw, but not sure if I like it, and it's made for the SRT front end.

Very shiny indeed are you still using that Optimum No Rinse?

The main question is...

How does she run!?

She runs exactly as you expect it, she's pretty fast now.

I still use ONR on days that I'm not supposed to be watering, I love that stuff!
