gonna get the 69 D-100 back on the road.
ordering front brakes and cam lifter's oil pump, water pump. then its time to finish building the bottom end, as i have had everything to build bottom end for 3 years now. oh yeah its a 6.6l bored 30 over with MP pistons. im going towards the old 440 roadrunner sound and performance. more of a cruizer than a racer. gonna air ride it so it will be low. may have to get "garage floor customs" in on that part. Its gonna be more of restification than a restoration. as i want to be able to drive it.
the main reason i haven't put it back together is i really don't wanna feed it. Elephants aren't cheap.
ill post pictures as it gets closer. just wanted to post as I'm excited.
Ive had this truck since 1989. and haven't driven it since 2003.
I pulled engine due to oil leak at front crank seal then found worn timing chain. ran fine when pulled. didnt even need bored after 112k. but i got a good deal on pistons.
