Latest project to roll off my drive-way

Post by LaidNeon » Mon Feb 25, 2008 2:00 am

saturday me & my right hand man for GFC pulled his front end off to do his 08 Sierra headlight conversion. Just shortly after 12.30am we finished it sunday night. Now we just have to wait for the new grill to get here so we can install it

dont guess i have seen that kinda conversion done before ... looks interesting ...

is it getting an 08 sierra grill as well? .. if so can you snap some pics of the mounts of it ... and take some measurements? ... interested in finding out if that grill might fit on my 07 silverado

It's doable

if you compare the headlight to the S10's counter part, the sonoma, they are damn near the same size

We are in the process of shaving everything on it, tailgate, taillights, & fuel door. We are also raising the bed floor to hide all the air suspension components. My boy bought the truck already bagged & they did a shitty install with the bed. Here's a before, now, & during pics

NOW (everything is temporarily mounted until we put the bed back on)

nope, it actually comes out looking quite good. i see more and more minitruckers doing that these days. it makes for a very clean look.

can't wait to see more progress on the truck, Dan.
