Help me.. 2gn Hydo Transmission

Post by Riddler » Mon Feb 25, 2008 8:53 pm

I'm working on making some scatter shields for your 2gn guys but I'm having some troubles.

I have a shield that bolts around the trans but there are 2 bolt holes that face the front of the car. I've done some searching and I believe this is a torque strut or a motor mount.

The Mopar PDF's don't show much.

Does anyone have any pictures of this area? I'd love to see a tranny and engine bolted together as well as some of this mount or torque strut.

It may be where the brace that supports the intake manifold bolts on, but i can't find it in my FSM. If i get a chance I'll take some pics tomorrow, if someone doesn't beat me to it.
This is the closest thing I have at the moment, not much help.

Probably shouldn't listen to anything your penis says, that guy's a dick.
Patience, of course, is a very powerful weapon, but sometimes I start to regret that it is not a firearm.
Too much time spent here is a sign of a bad case of Ownaneonvirus.

Also known as Power Plant Bending Strut. Basically a reinforcement brack that ties the trani and the block together. Its also a support bracket for the magnum intake manifold.
