SRT-4 ACR wheels on 05 SXT

What's the widest tire that can fit on an 05 SXT? I'm thinking about running 215/50/16 because that will keep the stock drive ratio but will that work? The wheels are 7" wide, btw.

That will be fine.

You could likely run a 225 if done right...

Awesome. But now say I plan on dropping my car 1" (well, SRT-4 springs) would they still fit?

The stock ACR size 225/45/16 will fit and clear everything. I run that size on a 7" wheel with a 40 offset, same as the ACR and I'm using SRT springs. Nothing special to do, just bolt them on and go. On the R/T anyway, this size is the same height as the stock 195/50/16, so my speedometer is on the money.

225/50/16 may or may not clear, the spring perch from what I've read here, will be the closest point.

I will be trying the 225/50's on my car this week. Ill update you with anything i find out. Im testing Toyo 4's and kumhos
