i just installed a 18 inch glasspack in my midpipe in combination with the srt rear and man it made a huge difference no longer do i want to kill my self to the droning noise its alot better. But will the new glassback with the srt rear do anything for my performance?

The performance should be unaffected with a decent quality glasspack. The slight pressure drop due to the larger I.D. of the muffler may cause exhaust flow to be disrupted a bit, which might result in a slight drop in power, but the designs on the market today are pretty good, so it shouldnt be an issue.

Funny that you mention that because i am in cali too, and I will prolly end up putting in a mid glasspack as well, highway drone gets old.

What do you guys recommend to rid myself of highway drone. a.k.a. prolonged 3k rpm driving. A long glasspack as I have read alot about...or a resonator. The drone really kills me on longs drives. My setup is just the stock piping with a magnaflow muffler comming straight out the drivers side.
