hvac relocation

hvac relocation

hello all
im on a top secret mission that involves relocatting my hvac controls
can any one help im just moving it down to where the radio is.
heheheheh youll love what im doing mauhahahahah

and seriously you guys better help or a very strong worded latter to every ones

Take it out, drill new holes and put it back wherever you want as long as it is not too far away...

I saw a pic and a topic, maybe last year, where someone actually relocate all 3 of those with the mounting, all moved and re-located to inside the center console... I guess so these was all kinds of room in the center dash for audio video stuff. Ya just had to pop open the arm rest to turn on the HVAC stuff....

You could mount it any where as long as you have some wiring/tubing skill. Isn't vacuum tubing attached to the controls? Either way you just need to extend the connections if you want to move it any distance. if it had the old cable to move the HVAC doors then it would be limited to how much it could be moved. The Dodge Jouney has them mounted above in the headliner.

what i did was
get some plastic weld and welded it to the bazel where the radio should be and its working great but i get them clips for the cable and stuff
