$19,000. Sorry if I sound stupid but what vinyl? I have only had the car for 2 days so plenty of search function use is coming I'm sure.

Sticker was 21,500 for this one :thefinger: (was in the glove box) but I still agree it was pricey though.

yeah - I meant the srt4 sticker on the hood/fender... Nothing says I'm lame like announcing the obvious - like putting "Powered by Honda" on an accord or something.

Looks really clean otherwise! 19k's pretty ouch, but it's what it's worth if that helps. Nice, low mileage etc...

Haha yeah I know.. not sure how to remove it though without damaging the paint... as far as price goes.. the suggested retail price according to Blue Book was 18500 so the markup was pretty small.

credit card, fingernails, etc, etc.... Do a search for "debadging" for some tips that'll work with vinyl removal.

the longer the stickers stay on there, the more the paint will fade around it leaving brighter red paint where the vinyl was - in any event, you'll want to buff the paint with some rubbing compound and then put on a nice thick coat of wax.

I'd *highly* recommend paying a pro the $100-150 to get it done unless you really like doing that kind of thing and/or are really good at it. They'd probably include the sticker removal in the price of the detail. :)

The way I found that works best when I removed some vinyls from my car that were on there for a year and half, was to spray someone PB Blaster all around them, than get a hairdryer and heat it up while starting to peel at the same time, came out flawless.

Didn't hurt the paint at all, although I do wax the car a lot so maybe it just ate all the wax away, in the end though, the paint still looks awesome...

So, you've not told us. How does this car run compared to a standard SXT or ES Neon? What does the acceleration feel like, how about taking corners, ect. Was it worth the extra money over a 2.0L N/A Neon?

I never drove an SRT but I can tell you that its gonna run like a bat out of hell compared to a 2.0.

Handling maybe a little better because of the performance oriented tires.

Worth the money, all in the eye of the beholder

Night and Day.

100+whp makes a hell of a difference.

hmm

SXT +100whp = SRT
SRT +100whp = Stage 3 SRT

man I'm bored.

Shit, I'm more curious about where the 800 lbs is coming from. :abduct:

It's amazing what a sawzall can do... :) Keep in mind the 2.0 block is a little lighter, the trans is a lot lighter, I have no power anything, no interior, etc. Exhaust is a lot lighter with less piping and no cat, and all systems not required to go fast are gone, such as evap. Gas tank will eventually go away in favor of a cell up front, but that's later.

Gotcha, I was thinkin' SRT minus 800 lbs. :owned:

Edit: back on topic, funny how the price was similiar to the mileage. Nice car nontheless.

Haha considering I just managed to dodge 3 points for a ticket I got less than a week ago.. been takin' it easy... most of the time.

Handles a lot better than the SXT.. much less body roll.. (International Parkway in Heathrow at 75MPH was a good test (That was aimed at KrazyRdR83 as he is near that area).

Acceleration feels at least double.. and I haven't fully opened her up yet.. still getting .. acquainted.. with her.

Was it worth it.. yeah.. when you get something you have wanted for a while and you worked hard to get it.. it always makes it worth it in the end.

Yah, the SXT has a lot of body roll because I don't have a rear anti-sway bar on it. Hopefully I'll remity that shortly with a decent set of bars. I'd love to take an SRT for a test drive someday just to feel what it's like but then, I'd only be teasing myself, LOL.
