You should get this kit for your car, I think I'd go with the wing.

It doesn't matter what wheels drive the damn car. Downforce helps keep the car planted at higher speeds. All the people who say "wings on FWD cars are pointless" are idiots with no concept of very simple physics.
On the other hand, the wing in this thread truly does serve no functional purpose. It definitely slows the car down due to drag and makes the car look bad, but not so much any useable functionality.

Your poll says 100% do not like the spoiler, then again I am the first one to vote...
As for why it doesn't work well with your car, you have nothing else to match/compliment it. You have nothing done to the car, besides a set of rims. In order to pull that wing off, you would need a body kit that has similar lines to it. I doubt there is a body kit that would work well with that spoiler.
There is a reason why most body kits offer some type of wing/spoiler, because its been designed to match the rest of the components. That spoiler is extremely curvy, Neons do not have that type of curvacious body.
Take it off, order some spoiler hole plugs from somewhere on the internet, paint match, and then save up to get a better looking spoiler. Stock SXT spoiler, hammer-head, or even an SRT spoiler will look much better.

i must say that i was always brought up that if you didnt have nothing nice to say then dont say it at all but i would have to agree with everyone by saying thats prob the worst wing idea ever produced, thats almost as bad as that saleen wing i see people with or the double stacked metal wing.
Its your car and if you like it then in the end thats all that matters but you asked for opinions on the wing and thats mine, now since your keeping it you should be asking what kind of kits/rims combos should you go with to compliment the wing cause right now its not blending well with the current direction of the car. If your planning on getting a kit/rims/springs you should think about removing the wing untill you get all those items, painted and installed on the car..
Just my .02

It looks ok but personally, I like the SRT-4 spoiler best on a Neon. You do know you can get a plug kit for the holes in the trunk lid so there's no need to take it to a body shop and spend all that money on bondo and paint. Also, maybe after the spoiler is painted it'll look better. Post a post-paint pic if you can.
?You know what the difference between me and you really is? You look out there and see a horde of evil, brain eating zombies. I look out there and see a target rich environment.?

Ok i am going to be honest i like it. But every1 hates it because of these reasons.
They hate everything that is not stock.
They put stock parts on thier cars ie srt-4 wings on thier cars and call it custom.
and they hate everything thst is not srt-4 converted.
I like the srt-4 motor swaps but why swap all the body parts.

Wow, after reading 3 pages worth, if I was this kid I would've engineered a virus to screw all you guys. Let this kid be, I myself was a ricer, and look at me now
(thanks for the new sig) If takes time, money and rice moments to get it right...
It's not my style anymore, but I will admit, it was with my first car. Paint it, and keep doing you maybe after seen the "picture thread" of this site you might change your look. Good luck

Ever watch the SPEED channel? I've seen some pretty cool SRT Neons with big wings on the back driven and built by professionals who know what they're doing. Granted, those are race prepped cars and we are talking street Neons with well under 200 horses, but...a decent wing will create some usable downforce on even a FWD car. This has been proven countless times, regardless of what anyone on these forums may think. This does not mean I condone putting a huge wing on our cars, however.MyNeonSaysHi wrote:See yellowpatrols link at top of page and click it. For the record, my SRT does not have any wing on it at all. I do not approve of people "upgrading" their base model Neons with SRT wings, either. The PVO designers admitted that thing is maybe 10% function and 90% aesthetics.
