2001 R/T Fog Light

Post by jefflytle120 » Wed Mar 12, 2008 10:37 pm

My Fog Lights don't come on anymore when I pull out the switch to turn them on. I mean if the bulbs are bad I can see one going out, but not both of them at the same time. Could it be a electrical problem? Has anyone had this happen to them before?

the fog light symbol on the dash still lights up when I pull the switch out. I just got a new multi changer two years ago becasue my high beams didn't come on. This is a pain in my ass

Your friend chewed the fuel line ??

Seriously, I have never heard of that happening before.
I assume that a squirel chewed it ??

I have heard of rodents chewing up wiring before ..... so it's not impossible.

The non-functioning fog could also be due to corrosion .... make sure that the socket is clean and grounding properly.

did you buy new bulbs? they could have both been put the same time and both had gone out at the same time.

but still Check the wiring first.

Odds are still slim-to-none on the "both bulbs are burned out" theory. Grab a test lamp and check the sockets that your bulbs plug in to and go from there. That'd probably be the best bet.
