general question

i have stock 195/50/16's on my r/t wheels. max pressure calls for 45psi but i find it too hard due to the poor roads up here. how much air would you recommend?

It's in your door jam, should say 32-35psi

Ummmm, yeah. The 45 psi max working pressure is just that, MAX working pressure. Typically you should be in the 31-33 range. I run 32 myself.

For better gas milage run it at about 35-37. I put my wifes at 36, I run mine at 33.

not to sound like a prick but i worry about my suspension/wheels instead of gas milage. roads up here suck, more ruts then you'll ever see anywhere else. but i dropped my pressure down to 31 psi.
