Another Accident

Post by racer12306 » Mon Mar 17, 2008 8:20 pm

So here I sit in a hotel in Louisville, Kentucky and I get a phone call. My fiance was hit in her Jeep. The other car hit the passenger rear tire. There is no cosmetic damage, all mechanical.

She and the baby that was with her are fine. She is sore, but it is probably reaggrivating the last accidents injury's.

It's not my baby, its a baby that she watches in the evenings. She finally got home at about 1a last nite and has muscle strains.

Thanks for the wishes.

It's because of things like this, that I try to be a safe driver.

I see too many reckless idiots, every single day, going to and from work and shopping on the weekends.
I am really amazed that there aren't more accidents like this one.

Did the other driver realize that there was a baby in the car ??
Probably not ..... regardless, it doesn't excuse careless driving.

A real 'accident' is one thing. Accidents caused by stoooopidity are another ...... :tardbang:

I hope that she wasn't a victim of stooopidity, and that she recovers soon.

I'm sorry to hear she and the little one had to go through that. Hopefully she doesn't have any more pain issues because of this.

I'm with NickKo. I hate ignorant drivers!
If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

Thanks again everyone.

Technically this one is her fault for failure to yield right of way. But the other driver probably should have been more careful. A lot of people in this area are idiots.

It is some pretty bad luck. This is her 6th accident, and her 2nd at fault accident. I don't think I will ever let her get a nice car
