Nothing yet. Still have some annoying boost leaks that I need to take care.jake_tim wrote:So have you done anything else since you finally got it running properly?
Serious sleeper though.

Eh. Okay. The car pulls to the right slightly; I need an alignment. Boost is not building as well anymore, I need to take some time in the cold and fix things. On start up at low revs, it makes a weird bubbling noise, like there's air in the coolant system. The brakes need replacing as they're getting noisy and I'm feeling brake grab a little. Brake light switch sometimes makes the brake light stay on a little longer than it should.
And the car is an ABSOLUTE MESS.
That's about it. But it runs!

Well, I'm taking the car to a friend's shop for an alignment Thursday to get the kinks worked out. I think the gurgling sound I hear is coolant in the overflow tank sloshing around, but I'll look into more tomorrow. I know my plugs are bad, as I feel a little stumbling at low RPMs. I have new NGKs in my trunk, just need to put them in.
Also, I think that the rattling sound may just be because the oil is too thick allowing me to hear noises? It may also be a bolt that's rattling somewhere too.
Oh, and my car hasn't been washed in months. I feel ashamed. Anyway, I'll boost leak test it soon, and get it running in top condition sometime. Just thought I should post here.

Nice choice of wheels yo.
As for the coolant system having air in it, take the radiator cap off and idle the car for a while. this is a high point to which the air will flow to and escape.
The problems with spark plugs and wiring is a problem i've been experiencing lately. I replaced the spark plugs with NGK which definitely solved the immediate problem, but not all has gone away for me yet in terms of bad low end torquing problems. My plug wires should be arriving early next week. I'll let you know how that goes.

Everyone knows that for breasts to be "perfect" they need to be within reach.
All right cool hansken. I changed plugs tonight, no real big difference. And I don't know if the noise is in the coolant system or not; I can only hear it in cabin. I was under my dash by the pedals earlier fixing something with the car on and could hear a constant.... bubbling or flowing sound, like fluids just flowing right behind the firewall. I'm not sure if maybe it's a power steering thing, but the increase of revs wouldn't make that get louder so I dunno really.

I got the wheels on today. It only took me five hours.
To make a long story short, the very last lug nut I had to take off had literally hundreds of pounds of torque on it and I had to go through a big ordeal to get it off.
That aside, I finished in the dark and don't really know what it truly looks like. I'm gone until Tuesday, but I'll get pictures up then.

Here's a few pictures of the car. Wheels are 16X7 MB wheels with Falken tires. I clayed and waxed the car a day or two ago for the first time, and it looks great. Comments welcome.

And this is where I took the pictures, it's a coul de sac down at the end of a road. Everybody around here calls it the end of the world. The pictures explain why it got its name.

Here a few videos, first one is a boring driving one, second is an exhaust vid. We cut the muffler off, and I like it more.
