Help
well, the shop that painted my cf hood and trunk did a maaco quility job and blamed it on the cf. Anyone know of a reputable paint shop in the dc/ va/ md area?
thanks
thanks
No!! Don't go to Maaco!! I use to detail at a Maaco in Reno and the quality of the painting and the body work was horrible! I was constantly going to the manager about horrible paint jobs, since I was the last person that saw that car before the customer it was my job to make sure it looked perfect. The manager basically would say, if they bring it back we'll deal with it.
Maybe it was just that shop, but I would never take my car to a Maaco. Just my .02.

AHH MAACO
that sucks about your stuff, i hope you get it fixed, my suggestion would be to ask around and find out a nice popular (in a good way) shop to get your stuff painted from now on. when i had my car and everything done, i got like 4 quotes from other places and the second i started talking to the shop that painted my car, i knew it was the place. they have had some very nice recoginzable cars come out of their shop and now mine is added to the list.
i dont know what your budget is, but trust me, its worth it to pay a little bit more than you want to get good quality that lasts forever. touchups are gonna end up costing you more than the first time it was painted in the long run if you go cheap.
