Yokohama

I will never buy a set of Goodyears ever, due to the crap that came on my car (Eagle LS's) and I will probably never buy a BFG again either. My monte tore up a set of Radial T/A's in no time (and no i didn't spin them much) and when I need drag radials I'm going with Mickey Thompson.

Pissed at BFGoodrich for life after my Super sports performed like bald tires on ice. Pissed at Goodyear after they gave me those crap as tires that came with my Neon. However, if it was just between those two, I'd say BFGoodrich.

Goodyear = Overpriced overrated tires.
BFG = Less expensive overrated tires.

Go with just about anything else. Yokohama, Toyo, Nitto, Kumho...you'll get a lot better tire for a lot less money.
If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

not to mention either of those tires are an unnecessary waste of your money if all you're putting them on is a stock car.

Although I have to agree with the statement about the Eagle LS's. I had a set of Goodyear Regatta 2's that went on after the Eagle's and they were very nice. Lots of tread left on them when I switch to my 17's with Nitto.

My stock Michellin Harmony's where awesome, they gripped really well, and the tread life was great.

I replaced them with Falken Zeix ZE512, never will own them again, basically all the tread was gone in less than 20k miles, and no, not due to spinning out.

I will deffinately buy BFG Traction T/A's again, especially after a fall, winter and spring here in KC, and I have put well over 10k miles on them and they have 80% tread life left. :D

I ran a set of Goodyear Triple Treads for over 2 years when I was on 15" stock rims. To be honest, they feel just as good as my current setup runnin Yokohama S-Drive

What do you think of the S Drives? I have Kumho ecsta spt on now but they discontinued the 15" so I need to find a new tire when it is time. Been kicking around the Azenia RT615 (worried about treadlife as it is a DD) or the Yoko S-Drive...other option is to go with the Kumho MX

The s-drives feel good, they're not loud on a road or anything. I say go for it. They may be down in price now. if not look around 115 per I believe. If you go to discount tire in store you may be able to talk them down. Trust me, they knock off as much as $20 per tire in-store so work your magic and say your low on funds but you need a tire that's goin to last and you should be good to go.

i have azenis and bfg kdw2s and believe me the kdw2s are a far superior tire. They handle rain better than any tire i've driven in the rain including the azenis and various goodyear tires. the overall cornering and turn in is just amazing compared to the azenis. If you are gonna buy an expensive tire like an f1 vs. the kdw2s by all means go with the kdw2s.
