that sucks. at least the engine code (C) engines are cheap as shit used. or at least easy to rebuild.

Ouch... that has got to be a bad rod bearing. I'd drop the oil pan immediately and check the bearings. A spun bearing will cause catastrophic failure very quickly! Within a few miles if you're lucky.

Way too loud for rocker noise IMO.

i noticed that it stops near the end and dose not start right away.....do you have a catch can or something that might not be bolted down all the way and is just shaking around hitting something?

It comes and goes because there is two pieces to the bearings, a top and a bottom. It makes the loud noise when one bearing spins ontop of the other and sits on the top of the rod journal, essentially making the rod too long. When the bearing spins back into place (or when both spin to the bottom side of the rod journal) the noise goes away... kinda. It'll soon turn into a constant knock and it'll fail. Very bad.

The noise is the piston slaping the cylinder head.

Ya thats a spun bearing if i've ever heard one. Our engines aren't the quietest but that is def. bad.

Spun bearings are constant, that noise is erratic, I'd say do a good engine flush with good chemicals like something offered from BG and not the kerosene in a can offered at most auto parts store's. Let the cleaner clean out any carbon deposits and residue then change to a fresh 5-30w oil....
that's definitely a lifter tick, one of your 16 lifters are not bleeding down and basically act as a solid lifter causing that noise. Mine did the same thing before until I got the whole rocker setup replaced....
