Remove the resonator pipe from (the part in the bumper you are talking about), get a drop in filter (K&N), and take the lid off the box. You'll have your sound that way, and your minimal performance gains.
I have a CAI on my car, yeah it looks cool, and sounds an inkling beefier, but other than that, you won't gain much. All up to you.

I did mine like this:

No fuss, no muss, only had to make up a braket to mount the TB out of a piece of aluminum stock and drill a hole in the top of the K&N drop in for the air temp sensor. It gets plenty of cool air from under the car where the stock air box used to sit and I've still got the ram air set-up in place to feed it more air.

?You know what the difference between me and you really is? You look out there and see a horde of evil, brain eating zombies. I look out there and see a target rich environment.?

this is what I did, car sound awesome at high rpms and feels a tiny bit more responsive too.TN.Frank wrote:I did mine like this:

That's the setup I "HAD" also, does not work to well though if you accidentally hit a water puddle in torrential rains and hydrolock the enginedeep1ca wrote:this is what I did, car sound awesome at high rpms and feels a tiny bit more responsive too.TN.Frank wrote:I did mine like this:

But after stating that, I'm running the same setup again on my AMM manifold
