shoutbox pblm

Today at 10AM AST I tried using the shoutbox ..was logged in and all my shouts were logged as guest!

We'll check into that, and see what we can do to fix that glitch.....

Did you by chance try logging out, and logging back in?

yes I logged out and back in .. still didnt work properly

I checked it, and it seems to be working fine for everyone except you. I would recommend that you try to delete the 2GN.org cookie from you computer, and then Log back in and make sure it accepts the cookie. If you still have problems, we will check into it further.

I'm experiencing a few problems today as well.. Gettin a lot of these error messages:

phpBB : Critical Error

Could not connect to the database

Yeah I get the same error every other click.. Mostly happens when I try posting a response or a topic.. Might have to start a new topic for that error though.. Not sure it is related to the shout box..

I've been having the same problems today. Critical errors all over the place, everything from trying to log in, trying to post, the chat, the shoutbox. I will tell you one thing though. I'm still browsing here over the .org even with the slowdown.

actually about 10am this morning, after id log in at work, id click on 'private messages' and it just showed an all black screen with a huge list of 'shouts' with some crazy characters (numbers and letters) mixed in

Can you guys give me a appox time it's happening everyday? Be sure and tell me your time zone so I know if everyone is seeing it the same time and can inform the host about it.

It almost sounds like someone is trying to hack the server...especially since its at about the same time as everyone states....
