need help......transmission

i need help i want to knowif i have a 3spd auto transmission so i can do a turbo kit on it.

2000 - 01 = 3spd
2002+ = 4spd

2k1 is correct.

and you might want to look for MTX swap parts before you build your auto tranny up. They go for pretty cheap now and will be better in the long run.

the 3spd is better suited for a turbo since it's not as computer controlled as the 4spd.

An MTX swap would be better for a turbo setup however.

Yeah, that's what I was trying to get at.

The 3speed would be better for a turbo setup, but an MTX would just be better overall.

Depending on how much work he is gonna do to the motor. But If he is gonna be making some serious power, I would say auto yeah.

i have a 2005 dodge neon sxt i have done the brake swap rear and soon the front and plan on doing turbo so i was woundering if i should just get a srt 4 swap
