This is the place to ask questions about your engine components like cams, valves, pistons… just anything that is generally "engine" specific. This also includes questions about exhaust systems such as exhaust manifolds, piping size, mufflers, ect...

This past August i installed a new mag head with a comp 400 cam. FF LTH and i already had my mag intake manifold and working butterfly valves. Over the past few weeks my car has been running weird. It will idle fine. When i stop at red light my AF will go past 17 and my AEM wideband will read ---. after a second it will go back to about 14.7 - 15.3. It sounds like the engine wants to die, but never does. Anyone else have this problem.

On a side note this past winter the wires for my O2 sensor in the cat were cut bc of the lovely snow/ice, so my dad and I sodered them back 2gether. Do you think the O2 sensor could be bad. I guess the wires were ripped for about 2 weeks b4 i had time to get them 2gether again ( i threw a code about the voltage was to high to the o2 sensor for 2 weeks also).

If i reset the computer everything is fine, and the A/F will be normal for about 2 days, then it goes back to super lean when i stop.
any suggestions...maybe replace the o2 sensor??

as of right now im not throwing any codes.

I would try the o2 sensor. The weight of the ice may have stressed the internal connection, especially if it was enough to sever the wires.
