General Tire Exclaim UHP

got 225/40ZR18 for my motegs, im on my 3rd set and im very happy with them, give them a look next time, last longer than my stocks, kuhmo's ecsta supra and reg ecsta's, and my yoko avid a4's

at my size they are about $86 a tire at tirerack

Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 StarSpec > Bridgestone Potenza RE01R > Falken Azenis RT615 > Hankook Ventus Z212 > every other EPT > A bunch of UHP tires > General Exclaim UHP

oh yea undoubtly theres better tires.... WAY better but for the price is what im sayin you cant complain about these

IMO You should never buy tires based on Price.

but again I have different priorities

get the falken 512s much better tire, great tread wear, very grippy very good in the rain. also they are at a competitive price to the general tire. I have heard that the exclaims are not that great of a tire. basically you get what u pay for.

The generals are a decent tire. I had them on a set of rims last summer, good tread wear, and they were NOT noisy at all.

The bad side; the handling sucked. They would squeel like hell going around corner at a moderate speed, wet traction left something to be desired, and they would fold over on themselves, leaving a very annoying black rubber ring on the rim. Hard to clean off too...

But like I said, good comfortable ride, great price, good commuter tire. Not geared for performance...
