Plastic is oxidizing, how to restore?

Got a question on outside appearance modifications. Questions about body kits, exterior lighting, just anything thats a visual mod on the "exterior" of the car. Ask those questions here.

You can see the plastic is turning a dull grey, let me know of any tried and true methods of fixing this.

I noticed the same thing happening to mine, especially the cowl plastic. I'm going to try a plastic polish used for headlight covers and see what it does.

Back to black wears off too quick. Ive heard Magic erasers work well on the window seals. It might be worth trying on plastic.

Mequiars makes a product much better than B2B...

I have had very good luck with these since getting pissed at the Back to Black poor application and longevity.
If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

The plastic on mine is doing the same thing. I haven't tried Mother's BTB yet but I have a bottle sitting around somewhere. I'll see if it does the trick once the rain stops. :cussing:

Thanks Dante.....

Some 'brand names' have a great reputation, and all their products are 'golden'!!
Some other 'brand names' have a terrible reputation across the board.

MEGUIAR'S is one of those brand names that has a GREAT reputation....
I have never, not even once, heard of them bringing out a 'bum' product. Their product line is 'golden'.
