who has swap the SRT dash harness

Just as it is in the subject said but what did it do. Does your blower motor work and what other thing have you found that does not work . Oh I think this only for the 2000 body and I think the year of the srt does not matter

I swapped mine out but my car was a 2001 R/T to a 2004 SRT-4. I lost my outside heated mirrors, the glove box and bottom center console light. The blower works fine but the plug is different. I had to swap the plugs as the SRT-4 seems not to have a temperature probe anymore. I replaced every harness except the door harnesses.

My Stock Harness had 5 wires. Two going to the blower motor and 3 going to the probe. The SRT-4 harness only has the two for the blower motor. I assume they did away with the probe sometime in 2004 because the service manual shows it but the harness simply doesn’t have any where to connect it to. I don't have AC in the car anyways so I don't care. But the motor/blower works just fine.

I have an 01 r/t and I didnt swap the dash harness. I just spliced in for the boost gauge and ran the vac line up there.

swapped only the body harness. the dash is still 100% 01 R/T

everything works even the heated mirrors works. The only thing that does not work is the traction control switch. I wish I could get that to work!! cuz w/ the amt of power I am putting down, it does help and make a difference to get traction w/ the 01 RT custer traction control.

You never had problems with your dome light not working? That was one of the reasons I swapped mine. I was able to splice a wire to make them work but it always bothered me so one day I just said screw it I'll swap it. Kind of miss the lights and the heated mirrors though.

Yea we are going to fight the dome light after we get the bugs out so it runs Then we can work out all that don't work

Odd. I did the dash harness swap into my 01 R/T, only lost the dome light, trac control, and the glove compartment light.

Everything else works as should.

i did the harness swap on my 00 going to a 04 srt only things i lost were glove box light, cd changer light everything else works good

i did the dash swap my heatercore had a different plug..from the 02...not sure if its different for all of them but i ran into a few problems..mine still doesnt turn over...im hoping maybe the 02 sensor of any of that may have somethign to do with it

I swapped the whole heater box assembly into my 2000 swap, it was easier that cutting and splicing dash wires, but I had a complete donor car to pull from.......
