SRT Boost Gauge Pod install???

Post by jmr » Sun Apr 13, 2008 2:11 pm

I want to install the boost gauge pod in my 05 SXT. Does anyone have a template or know the location on where to cut the underside of the dash cover? I've seen pictures but was wondering if anyone had more precise measurements on where to cut?

IIRC there is a how to: http://forum.2gn.org/viewtopic.php?t=21481
But it isn't all that helpful for your purpose, and has it's distractions... The wrong kind of Pods! Not that there's anything wrong there...
IIRC there is a post somewhere that shows installing on non SRT dash cover.

^ yup, i looked at daaboots' cardomain for mine. i took a slower, more accurate route by using a box cutter/shop knife to slowly cut away the hole to be barely enough to fit the pod in.

Excellent thanks for the info. A Dremel should do the trick nicely.

Got it installed tonight. It wasn't too bad to do, I used license plate speednuts and expoxied them to the support piece in the dash. Currently it has a small keychain soccer ball in the pod until the gauge arrives.
