brake question

Post by excon » Mon Apr 14, 2008 10:18 am

There are a lot of posts on here about switching from drum brakes on the rear to disc brakes. I'm curious as to what would stop a neon quicker.

1. Leave the drum brakes on the back and swap a set of slotted and/or cross drilled rotors on the front (since most of the braking is done with the front wheels)

or

2. Do the disc brake swap and have 4 wheel disc brakes.

I personally felt an improvement with switching to 4 wheel disc brakes and going to Hawk HPS pads.
