How big is the 05 pt cruiser front swaybar?

A local junk yard is having a $25 all you can carry sale, and I'm looking to pick up a pt front swaybar to go with the srt rear bar I just put on. The only pt they have is an 05 not gt model, and I'm curious is this bar is worth the trouble. I know the pt/gt is a 26mm, but what is the size of the non gt swaybar?

Idk but 25$ for all you can carry sounds BALLIN! I say find as many neons as you can, take the hood of one of them, and carry all the shit you can on top of the hood.

Depends on the sales code for the suspension it has. The '05 has a listing that is the same bar as the SRT ACR (24mm?)

There are a few choices
If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

24mm sounds good to me, anything bigger than stock is better.

So far the list is: swaybar, hood, side mirror, headlight, airbox, and anything else I can think of, if I can carry it all. I shattered my ankle a few years ago and have some screws in there, so I can't carry too much. Might just have to strap up the brace real tight, and take the pain.

If I can convince their wives to let them. I'm the bachelor friend, and the wives don't like them hanging out with me unsupervised.

I thinks it's 20mm stock, I'm not 100% sure though.

Well I finally got the bar today. Tried to get it saturday, but they still had to put the pt on the hoist and remove the engine. Still gave it to me for free, so I gave him a $10 tip and offered him a 12pack. Dam this thing is heavy, now I know why hollow aftermarket bar is so expensive.

I'll be installing it tonight and maybe compare the 2 for future reference of anyone interested in the swap.

Good luck with the front. I'm running a 24mm from a SRT with a 19mm in the rear and I love the setup :)

A while ago I swap the GT bar on my 06 PT Limited Turbo. The old bar was 25mm and was bigger than the SRT bar. This would be a good low dollar upgrade for a Neon.
