Carbon Fiber ??

i have a full carbon fiber hood for a 2003 neon with the ram air scoop from kaminari ... It is starting to fade from the gloss it orginally had ... my question is how to prevent it and how can i fix it ... Thanks

most carbon fiber pieces have only one coat of clear on them so its a good idea to have it re cleared once you get it to help protect it from fading. The sun will eat it away if you dont re clear it and wax it on a scheduled basis. Once it starts fading depending on how bad it is the best thing would be to take it to a shop and get it recleared. only thing i can think of

or take it to someone competent with composites and have the clearcoat removed completely, and go with the dry carbon look.

Polish, and seal it, it will come right back to how it was.......here's mine, over 4 years old!!!!!

Chemical guys pro polish, chemical guys Final Polish, then two coats of Zaino Z5pro.
