Critical Errors (split from shoutbox)

Hey Jason. You wanted to know what time it was happening. I'm currently experiencing the same things I posted in the other thread (critical error on log ins, attempts to post, and just random errors). It's shortly after 10am and I'm on the west coast.

Thanks... I need everyone that has seen these too post up with approx times that it's happening b/c it's doing it right now for me. I'm going to tell the host about this and if need be refrence this thread to them to show that it's just not me.

Thanks everyone... They are looking into it...

I've informed sysadmins concerning this re-occurring issue and they established direct monitoring of your mysql server instance, so all upcoming problems will be solved as soon as we get probe fault report - until complete resolution. I honestly apologize for this temporary inconvenience.

Just got one of the PHP Critical Errors about 3 minutes before the time of this post. I also noticed that the server's running real slow which might be causing this... Or vice versa.

Yeah I e-mailed them after I got home from work and they said it should be fixed and that they'll monitor the server.

If it's moving slow in the morning before I go to work I'll contact them again.

Pretty much the exact same thing and time for me (even time zone). Just wasn't 30+. It just wouldn't give me anything but the errors. I had to close the window and open a new one and log back in.

Well guys and gals......

This seems to be a recurring problem that we are checking into to fix....

I'm having problems like this just like everyone else.

We will do everything we can to remedy this problem so the board will run smoother.

I've noticed one thing... a very LARGE number of search engine bots have been crawling the forum so I've blocked the IP address of the bots to see if the forum will speed up. Downside to doing this is the forum and all the threads, posts, ect will not appear as much in peoples search results. Thats just a downside but with everyone spreading the word I'm not too worried with it.

Anyway... lets see what that does.

I betcha' that'll help. Search engines are crawling 35,392 (and counting) articles has gotta' be causing some bit of lag...
