Nope... the new Challenger if I had the cash, but not the Charger. Its a disgrace to the Charger of the 60's and early 70's. Stupid 4 door family sedan. You'd be better off to get a Caravan.

I wouldn't for two big reasons.

1) I would kick myself because I should have bought the SRT, and...

2) wouldn't buy either because of the lack of a manual.

I work for a Dodge dealer. I see bad and expensive things down the road for those cars...
If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

Yes. I have one sitting in the garage right, the van had to go in for some service, and they gave me an AWD R/T. Its fast, looks great, plenty of space, and handles fairly well. There is a bit to much body lean and dive, but its made to drive smooth...

Gas is the only thing, if you have a lead foot, its going to cost you a lot of money. I'm getting 21-22 mpg just driving around town and doing some highway driving. Thats pretty decent in my book...

Im pretty sure the rt's cut half the cylinders out when they aren't needed. If you're not a lead foot, gas mileage shouldn't be too bad on them.

I wouldn't but then again I'm in the market for a SRT challenger after the summer. I like the way the Charger SRT's look and wouldn't mind having one in red.

My friend has one and loves it. They are still fast and handle well.

Yes, the challenger will be getting a 6 speed for 09.

I probably wouldn't buy a Charger. My fiance had one for a rental and I was dissappointed by the passenger room. The 300 has a bunch of room for the front passenger.

I wouldn't want the AWD in that case either.

personally, i wouldn't buy that caliber. its a first year car, i don't like first year cars. see how the CVT transmissions are holding up.

Either of the LX cars will get low - mid 20's for fuel economy at best. The 3.5 will definitly be better than the 2.7, that engine in an LX is a DOG.

3) too big

4) doesn't look all that great.

5) my dad owns an SRT8 Charger... so I get my fill

Yes.

I did and would all over again. I love everything about it. For me it's the perfect mix of everything. Sure it's not a standout in any one category but it has just enough of all the stuff I want in a car. Couldn't be happier with it.

If you have the extra money go for the 5.7 over the 3.5. The MDS on the 5.7 helps mpg alot. The extra power from the Hemi outweighs the slight increase in mpg from the 3.5 in my opinion.

I'd buy one. In fact, I did! Almost 2 years ago. Its been an awesome ride so far. I am averaging 20-22 MPG in everyday driving. I wouldn't trade it for anything. Its soooo much fun! Oh, BTW, I still have my Neon. Almost 160K and still going strong. Both of these cars will be at Carlisle in July like last year. :D :D

Yeah I would have no desire to own a new Charger, maybe if they had a manual trans option, but still it would have too many doors for my tastes.

If I was gonna spend that much loot on a 4-door vehicle it would be about an '04 BMW 330i. Sadly there are no recent Mopars I have any desire to own (except Viper).
